Hello everyone! For this weeks episode we are kicking off the first of a series that will focus on the constitution of the unites states. Specifically the amendments. To start things off, we are diving head first into the First Amendment:
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
What does it mean? What rights does it guarantee? What did the founding fathers intend, and does their intent even matter in today's society? We tackle all these issues and more as we use our first amendment rights to discuss the first amendment. This week, on the Alt Left Podcast!
