This one's for all the Greek mythology kids! Star Wars pulls from a LOT of different sources, from old American westerns to samurai movies to Flash Gordon serials. While it might not be the most well known inspiration for Star Wars, there's more similarities between the sprawling space opera and the ancient religion than you might think!
