Joseph Katz, D.M.D, Professor, Head section of Oral Medicine, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Diagnostic Sciences at the University of Florida. Dr. Katz Has an active patient care practice, and he is deeply involved in teaching and translational research. He was trained at the Hebrew University School of Dental Medicine, where he received his DMD and Residency in Oral Medicine, followed by a fellowship at NIDCR –NIH and the Eastman Dental Institute in London. Dr. Katz is a member of the American Academy of Oral Medicine. He has authored more than 220 peer-reviewed publications and sits on the editorial boards of various scientific journals.
