On this episode, Derek sits with JP Karliak.  JP is an incredibly talented Voice Over Actor.  He has worked on such films as Boss Baby, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and the New Looney Tunes.  He is best known for voicing Morph, the first non-binary character in the new X-Men ‘97 and will soon be starring in “The Smurfs Movie” coming in 2025. He is also the founder and President of Queer Vox Academy, a non-profit organization providing training and professional support for LGBTQIA+ voice actors in the entertainment industry.  JP will be discussing the troubles he had growing up as a queer kid in Pennsylvania, his time at USC, breaking into Voice Over, his various roles and how he prepares for them, his method, his voice over idols, his amusing story of meeting Mark Hamill, "Donna/Madonna", Queer Vox Academy and we discuss LGBTQ representation in voice over and more.
