You ever forget about a jar of something in the back of the fridge and find it again after a few months, maybe the same quality as before, maybe now covered in a thick layer of mold? Unrelated, but we maaayyyyyyy have recorded this in late October and are only releasing it now. Some stuff still is super relevant, some stuff....weeelllll, it may not be as fresh as when we bought it.
Joel and Naomi return to talk about topical issues like the Chinese government and abortion policy, new legal penalties for miscarriages, the strikes occurring all over America, climate anxiety, more horrifying stuff Facebook (we refuse to call it Meta) did to destroy our civilization, and our hot takes on that weird comedy routine Dave Chappelle did. No, not that bit in the "Nutty Professor," the other one. You know which one we're talking about.
(Also unrelated, but is anyone else surprised they haven't tried to do a soft reboot of the Nutty Professor yet? Eddie Murphy is still a draw and Dolemite is My Name, starring him as a wacky, somewhat offkilter performer, was great. We're just saying...if any of our listeners have connections to Industry, we have some ideas that could take the premise in a whole new direction)
Our theme music is “Drop” by the artist Ketsa. If you like their music, you can find more of it here.
