Listen Later

We are continuing our talk about parenting. God has given us the responsibility to steward the children He has placed in our care. We are using Luke 2:52 as a good gauge to evaluate our parenting. Are we making sure that our children are growing Mentally/emotionally, Physically, Spiritually, Socially. Lets talk about it in real life.

Foundational Truths:

1. Your children belong to God and you are a steward of God's property, they are not mine exclusively to rear however I please. (Ezekiel 18:4 All souls are mine, Psalm 127: 3-5 Children are a gift from the Lord)

2. You will eventually have to let go of your children. You only have them for a little season.
3. Your true identity is in Christ, not your children.

Jesus grew in wisdom, and stature, in favor of God and man. Luke 2:52
