Episode 29: This episode is comprised of two conversations I had with two different comic book artists that were featured at the Free Comic Book Day event in Rochester, and is the last of my episodes recorded that day. The first segment is my conversation with Jim Lawson, who is best known for his work in the early days of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, famously creating the character Rat King. We wonder if the timing and location of the Turtles creation had as much to do with their pop culture success as how genuine and unique they are.
Next is my chat with artist Matt Smith, who is known for his work with such titles as Hellboy and Barbarian Lord. However, in true EPS Podcast fashion, instead of talking about his artwork, we decided to talk about the modern reboot of David Lynch’s Twin Peaks as our pre-recording conversation was proving to be so much fun.
