When it comes to people - and painful situations, its not uncommon for us to flee and run. I am not talking about a person who is physically, emotionally or verbal hurtful. I am talking about awkward situations where words or experiences unfold and we often don’t know how to navigate it.
We live in a culture where we can say and do just about whatever we want and the boundaries can become quite blurry sometimes. Especially when it comes to being hurt by people. When people are hurt, oftentimes they will hurt other people as a direct reflection of their own pain or insecurity.
Who or what are you "fleeing" from? What is a healthy response? Will you grow through it or go? Flee or face?
