After a recent play date where all five, soon to be six, of the O'day and Silver girls got together and found all the paint and glitter (every homeowners worst enemy) Jamie and Emily thought about why we frequently default to saying "no" to the kids.

Jamie and Emily take a deep dive into why we are conditioned to respond with a "no" and how to work through making decisions for our kids… even if it involves a messy cleanup or altering your plans.

Sometimes, saying "no" is about teaching a lesson or setting a boundary but saying yes has significant meaning too.
