Welcome to Part IX of our sequel series about how to escape and stay free from sabotaging influences.
Does it mean something when someone swings drastically into a whole different worldview or set of values? What if they stop caring about what always mattered to them before? How do you know whether these changes are normal or perhaps a sign of something insidious at work?
From personal experience, we know what it is like to be pressured into doing things that you find a need to justify. We gave up ground on things we believed in because we were tempted, manipulated, and even outright forced to accept what was wrong. Of course there were other times in our lives that we simply rebelled and were trying to be different and discover our own way. It can be hard to know the difference especially in teens and young adults who have a tendency to go through different phases, often trying unfamiliar paths. Listen in to find out about the primary indicators of a domineering outside influence so you can know what is really going on.
