1970 Was a turbulent year in our world. Sports, as usual, made it all the more bearable. The AFL and NFL merged yet the design and aesthetics of the 1970 Topps football offering takes us even further back to late 50's.  3/4 length arm sleeves, crew cuts, prototypical football deployed to hold back the forces of the 1970's cultural explosion.
