Narrated by the author D.K Bhaskar, this episode covers these two chapters of the book - ಬಲರಾಮನನ್ನು ಅರಸುತ್ತಾ  and ಸೆರೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕ ಬಲರಾಮ .   

In this episode, Balarama and his cousins lose Chikki elephant. In the sadness, Balarama ventures into Kakanakote forest and is captured by Humans.  The episode ends with  Balarama meeting his trainer , Sannappa , for the first time.
