We are happy to welcome our guest, Dr. Alisa Nance on the show! She studied at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for her undergraduate work and NC Baptist Hospital at Bowman Gray School of Medicine in Winston Salem, NC for her doctorate. Her Internship and Residency training was at Memorial Hermann Hospital System in Houston, TX. She is also a Pharmacist and currently practices at Nance Family Medicine in Mooresville, NC.

She brings a unique perspective as a family physician and is on the show to share her personal journey of incurring and recovering from a mTBI (mild traumatic brain injury). She was handed a copy of Clark Elliott’s book and consequently sought treatment through the same route that he did.
