Andy has 14 years of experience as a paramedic working in New Zealand with search and rescue before moving to Australia. He has been a university lecturer for over seven years, teaching the next generation of paramedics. Andy currently works at Griffith University as a senior lecturer, where he has a particular interest in operational cognitive readiness, developing clinical pedagogy for the prehospital environment and improving student learning outcomes through the use of variations in teaching delivery. Andy is currently enrolled as a PhD candidate.
