In this episode, I tell about some of the early days of what led me to producing Critically Minded with Nicholas Bufton. I discuss some of the advantages of implementing podcasts into a course design. I provide a description of the podcast series. In Teacher's Journal segment, I describe how this effort initially failed as a result of students not recognizing the podcast as a relevant part of the class--a problem I later solved with a solution I will describe in the following episode.
