Clarification: When I say that something is a heresy of another religion, I mean that it is a revised version of the religion or religions that scholars agree it uses as its jumping off point. I mean this in a purely academic way as the word "heresy" almost always has a negative connotation. Therefore, I am trying to clarify what I mean by a religion being a "heresy" of another religion or religions. Furthermore, I understand that there are alternative explanations for what is written in the Torah, the New Testament, and the Quran, but I am trying to use the interpretations of their founders, prophets, disciples, and early followers as argument points in the debate, instead of the interpretations proposed by their modern religious scholars.
