In this episode, I talk with Dr. Brittney about how we can support our nervous system in a way that will help our bodies to rest. My favorite part of the episode is where she used the analogy of a bucket. We each have our own individual capacity to stress (physical, chemical, emotional). When the bucket overflows, that's when we get sick or lose it with our toddler or get injured. By knowing how we can keep our buckets (more) empty, we can then set ourselves up well to enter into the times of quiet where we can intentionally connect with the Lord.
