In this episode, Emily Hunter Turner, CEO of All Square and former federal attorney opens up about being recently orphaned, launching a business, and pursuing her truth. Emily had a tumultuous relationship with her father and a blossoming one with her mother; although both of them are recently deceased. During the grieving process, Emily continued to pursue her passion project with All Square, a grilled cheese shop which employs and nurtures newly convicted felons. Emily found that newly convicted felons, especially those of colour, have tremendous barriers in accessing affordable housing - inspiring the mission of All Square.
