Human beings are social beings. We are wired for connection. We NEED each other to survive, to thrive. However, as you may have noticed already, one of the most challenging things in our life is our ability to form healthy relationships with others.
How many times we’ve found ourselves in relationships where we feel used, unseen, taken advantage of, but for some reason, we don’t leave? We fall into cycles of love-hate, with plenty of bad moments and just a few good ones that seem to compensate enough so we convince ourselves to stay.
These dynamics are not exclusive of romantic relationships, we can live them in relationships with friends, family, authority figures, etc.
In this episode we explore what trauma bonding and codependency are, and what we can do to build healthier and more fulfilling relationships in our life. Enjoy!
