While I get to know the two beautiful goats known as Baby and Bendy - a mother / daughter duo that have won me over quite quickly with their never-failing bleats of hello …
we come to the conclusion that :
* Some seeds take longer than others to sprout. do not give up
* If something isn’t working the way you thought it would, try a new angle. try a new perspective
* We all need sunshine and water. Your body is not to be neglected.
A few other updates from joinPEEL HQ …
We had a banana extravaganza last night! More videos on IG here, included a little shout out to the sweet horses who just love the banana leaves!
Luckily I just got a boat job and now know how to tie a cleat and a bowline. I am very proudly practicing these knots if you want to throw a new one at me! 😆
My roommate started our raised bed section. ( We LOVE drills. 🤣)
And for next week’s episode - I finally got a chance to help harvest some honey at La Kahea, a farm here in Maui where you can come and do farm tours with me!
We are having a whole bunch of fun talking about the history of Hawaii’s farming and how we need DECENTRALIZED systems like PEEL to create a stronger spine for our food systems.
I hope you enjoy today’s video, which you can watch at the top !
