In this episode I interview retired Goldendoodle breeder April Cliber. Learn about her first dog, how she got started in breeding goldendoodles and some of the challenges of that come with breeding doodles.

• Canine Inherited Disorders Database — A useful resource for looking up the various diseases and disorders specific breeds are susceptible to. Obviously if labs, golden retrievers or poodles have a chance of a disorder, it could potentially be passed on to a goldendoodle or labradoodle offspring if one of the parents has this disease. More reason to only purchase from breeders who do comprehensive genetic health testing.
