Hey Arnold was primarily a comedy show aimed at kids, but also included enough adult humor and content, to engage older viewers as well.

 

Not only was this show brilliantly funny, but it also dealt with real life issues. From alcoholism, learning disabilities, and responsibilities to abandonment, bipolar disorder, and the perils of growing up, this show delivered heavy issues in a kid friendly and personable way.
