Jon Hyde was my first rep cricket coach. He has so much passion for growing the game of cricket and supporting female players. As you will hear, he almost fell upon his initial role coaching women and since then he has become a well known figure in women's cricket in the area. 

He is life member at Preston CC and Holy Trinity CC, both of which are clubs I am proud to be a member of. 

This photo was taken at end of last season. This was the moment we won the semi final after a bit of a shaky batting performance by our team. Jon was pacing around the ground and I was nervously walking with him. When Kelly scored the winning run, Jon and I jumped into each others arms. As it was his last season coaching us, it was a special moment.
