On June 14, 2023 the Elk Grove City Council approved a collaborative agreement between the Sacramento County District Attorney’s office and the Elk Grove Police Department for what is known as a Community Prosecutor Program. Elk Grove Police Lieutenant Dan Templeton shares what this means for public safety in the city and how it will help officers and the community.
