You Have Heard it Read...., a podcast devoted to the public reading of scripture.
In this episode, we complete the reading of the Gospel According to Mark by reading chapters 12-16. You can follow along in your own Bible, a Bible reading app, or by visiting esv.org.
For the passage read in this episode, it is worth noting that some early manuscripts do not have the very end of Mark 16 included in the text. Based on the writing style of Mark, some think that this had to do with Mark wanting to intentionally leave the reader on a cliffhanger to be able to imagine for themselves how they might respond to the resurrected Jesus.
For updates on the pod, follow the podcast on Spotify, Anchor, Google Podcasts, or most any other place that you listen to your pods. You can also follow me on Twitter or Instagram @tallmancody for updates.
Next episode, we dive into the Psalms. You won't want to miss it!
