In Episode 3, we are joined by Perlina Patel who graduated with a degree in Law from King’s in 2021. Since graduating, Perlina has been a research assistant to Professor Philippa Webb and Dr Rosana Garciandia at King's, and has completed a research internship at the University of Oxford. She will begin her master’s degree in Law at the University of Cambridge in October 2022. We discuss how to approach a gap year, Perlina's career aspirations at the Bar, and how networking (and asking 'Can I help?') can pay off when securing meaningful work experience.
