Nikki Marmery lives in a village just outside London where she writes historical fiction. Paul Lambis chats to her about her debut novel, On Wilder Seas, which is inspired by the true story of Maria, the woman who sailed on the Golden Hind during Francis Drake’s circumnavigation voyage in 1579.
