On Episode 3 of The Voice & The Coach, Dan and Mark are joined by former Vancouver Canuck/Toronto Maple Leaf's defenceman Rick Lanz (11:54). During the conversation, Rick talks about breaking into the league with Vancouver as a young defenceman and then transitioning into a more veteran-type role with the Toronto Maple Leafs. He tells a hilarious story about Dave "Tiger" Williams trying to intimidate the Stastny brothers before a game in Quebec and also talks about his stint in Atlanta where he was teammates with Manon Rhéaume - The first woman to play professional hockey in North America. Rick Lanz' experiences as a player, coach and professional scout are all touched on in Episode 3.

One final wrinkle: Rick Lanz and Mark Holick are brothers-in-law! They'll share how they almost came to blows against each other while coaching, and also a legendary story about chasing an intruder away from their Mother-In-Law's house.
