Sean Rooney is one of just a handful of Waves who have won a gold medal at the Olympics as an athlete. The Pepperdine men's volleyball standout was a National Player of the Year before joining the U.S. National Team, and after the conclusion of his playing career, he returned to Malibu as an assistant coach.
