In this episode, we look at all the U.P. Teams that have made state championship appearances since 1999 when the divisions were changed from a letter system (AA, A, BB, B, etc.) to a number system (1-8).
19 state championship appearances in 11-man football since 1999 with 9 state titles coming back across the Mackinac bridge.
We also look at the addition of 8-man football championships in 2011 and the 4 state champions out of 8 appearances.
