Bio:

Dr. Elvira Prusaczyk is a social psychologist and Assistant Professor at St. Francis Xavier University, where she leads the Prejudice Awareness and Reduction (PAR) Lab. Her research explores how sexism, political ideology, and sexual media—like pornography—shape attitudes and behaviors toward women, as well as how cultural and situational factors influence sexual relationships, hookup culture, and consent. Dr. Prusaczyk’s work bridges rigorous science with real-world impact, informing education, policy, and campus sexual violence prevention.
