Howdy and welcome to another episode of the key pleading with Student Activities podcast. My name is Bruce Brown and we're here to tell you that you've got this and we are a proud member of the Texas A&M podcast Network. And what we're doing is we're sharing stories from leaders around our campus if you encourage you and to inspire you by hearing their Amazing Stories. And so with that being said we have Kelly joining us today and Kelly's with the 12th can suck it Kelleigh introduced herself cuz there's so much cool going on. And so Kelly, why don't you take it away. Tell us a little bit about yourself. Yeah, thank you Bruce. So it's brief you mentioned. My name is Kelly. I'm a first-generation college student business owners major in management from Pasadena, Texas, which is a small town outside of Houston. I'm the executive director for the 12th can this year and I've been with the 12 can for the past three years going on like forth. So I'm very excited to be here. Yeah, we're so thankful to have you so you said you've been with 12 can for the last 3 and 1/2 years. That means you got plugged in like right away. So can you tell our listeners a little bit about what the 12th can is often? What inspired you to get involved? Yeah, the 12th can is Texas A&M on campus food pantry founded back in 2013. We serve all current students staff and faculty in need of assistance office and I got involved back my freshman year. I saw an email from FDA and they talked about this little food pantry on campus and having done work with the Houston I think back home.
