The way we view our earthly father directly impacts the way we view God the Father, and influences how drawn to or driven away from Him we feel. The story of the Prodigal Son in Luke 15 shows us that God the Father loves us enough to let us make our own choices, even if they hurt us. He’s always ready to take us back with open arms. All we have to do is come to Him.

Ask God to reveal Himself to you this way as you seek Him out in His Word. You’ll be amazed by His care, wisdom, patience, and understanding.
