In this new episode of the hybrid cloud Forecast series, Andre talks to Tamar Eilam, IBM Fellow, Cloud, Climate. Tamar talks about working on the project that resulted in the "birth of the cloud" and  how the project impacted cloud as it is today. Tamar and Andre talk about inventing the future and  how new ideas for ground breaking research are conceptualized. They discuss the qualities that are necessary for being a good researcher in addition to being persistent. Tamar talks about how important it is to change course due to technology and landscape upheavals, and how to decide when to admit defeat and move on.
