For years the role of a father was defined by being the bread-winner who worked hard all day and then spent the evening in front of the TV while mom prepared the kids into bed. In many respects those days are long gone. The modern-day father comes in various forms and does more than pilot the van on summer vacations and keep the hotdogs and hamburgers coming at the backyard cookout.
