James Otis Jr. is the Founding Father that not many people know about. In this episode, I do a quick history lesson on the American patriot and explain the Writs of Assistance issued by Great Britain that he famously challenged in court. James Otis's opposition to the Writs of Assistance is regarded by many historians as the spark that lit the movement for American Independence. I couldn't agree more. We all owe a huge debt of gratitude to this man.
