In today’s episode, we’re focusing on how to shift your mindset from freelancer into a CEO.  Are you ready to take your business to the next level and stop trading your time for money?

Business update!  As the academy grows, we will hire a success coach.  The next four academy students will have me as their 1:1 coach and the following students will have the new success coach.  This means you'll have the benefit of multiple coaches in the academy.

  • Even if you start your business out as a freelancer, at some point you're going to have to make changes and shifts if you want to hit the next level of income & freedom.  The first step is shifting your mindset.
  • The common freelancer mindset that is limiting you is that you need to do something yourself in order for it to be done correctly, causing you not to grow and hire help.
  • Shift to the CEO mindset - what do they do, what do they get paid for? CEO's get paid for performance. CEO's leverage time and the expertise of others to make their money. Successful companies have a staff which allows you to make more money.
  • The other part of being a CEO is your systems, automations, SOPS; all your back end functions. How is it running and functioning?  If you were to step out and have someone else on your team fill in, could they do it with what you have currently in place?
  • Running a team can be exhausting but what's more exhausting is trading your time for money.
  • If you want to scale your business without having a large team, you can bring in just a couple of people to help you on the backend.
  • When you find the right people, your team will love your mission just as much as you do, if not more, and they genuinely care and want your business to run and function well.  When you find those people, it makes running a team much easier and feels rewarding.
  • Here are action items for you to takeaway from today's episode:
    • Start taking a look at your current mindset and business.  Does it align with the future you?  Do you want to step into the next level of CEO where you make more money while working less?
