The third installment of the Heirlooms origin story is finally here. Join me and my dad as we revisit his time in corrections, the people he met along the way, and the things that got him through. One such item includes today's heirloom, his beloved typewriter on which he wrote poems, letters to loved ones & the community, and even his own appeal for a sentence reduction!
Needless to say, this was a powerful tool in an otherwise disempowering setting. Listen along as we revisit some of the memories and excerpts of this era.
