Hello and welcome back to War Diary WWII, where I bring to life my grandfather’s WWII service through readings from his war diary. I’m Jason Scott Kofke. You might’ve noticed… it’s been 10 years since our last episode.
That’s because life—especially moving across countries, constantly chasing stable space to record, and balancing full-time work—left me with no quiet studio or time to record. Though I've applied for grants and funding over the years, opportunities to upgrade equipment or work with a sound engineer never materialized.
But I’m back, and deeply grateful to be here with you again. If you’ve valued this podcast—and want to support its return—please consider donating to our Patreon. Your support could fund a decent mic, new editing software, or even help me hire a sound designer someday. If we hit $1,000 a month, I can devote time to release two episodes a month instead of one.
