Episode 3 - What Anger is Really saying

Listen Later

Most of us were taught that anger is a problem to be managed — at best a character flaw, at worst a sin.

In this episode James and Daniela challenge that entirely. Anger isn't the enemy. It's often a messenger — pointing at something true, something hurt, something that genuinely matters. The problem isn't the anger itself. It's when we stop listening to what it's trying to say.

They talk about where their beliefs about anger came from, the difference between anger as a signal and anger as a pattern, and what has genuinely changed in how they handle it.

"Anger is often the most honest emotion in the room. The others have learned to dress better."

"We taught people to manage their anger before we taught them to listen to it."

"Underneath every strong reaction is usually something much quieter — and much more vulnerable."
