Episode 3 - Why you need to practise critical thinking

Season 1 - Episode 3 ‘You need to practice critical thinking’

*TW: towards the end of this episode, I talk a little bit about loss and grief*

How do you form your opinions about the world around you? Do you make a habit of considering things from an alternative point of view?

In a polarized world where content is everywhere - it's more important than ever to think critically about the information we receive thousands of times every day. This episode talks about embracing nuance in life, and in the content we consume, as well as how to harness the power of information and assess it with neutrality.

We now receive more information every day than people received in a lifetime 100 years ago, and that ‘overload’ is causing havoc with humanity. As always, the most powerful place to start is with ourselves, using our basic right and our ability to question, to hold information up to the lens and the light and get curious about alternative views, we can start to explore everything we are told from a place of unity, rather than separation.

I talk about a lot of big topics in this episode, and would love to hear your thoughts on how we can do better as humans to support each other and lift each other up.

As always, my intention is for you to take what resonates with you, and leave what doesn’t.
