Wow, 30th episode, should crack open the champaign shouldn't we?
What a great journey Sam and I have been on, finally got Sam back to reading again after many years abstinence form books. At least the hours of my book has allowed her to go back to one of her loves.
Here in the is episode, Alex goes back to the nick in the Mile End, East London, has a meeting wit the murder team. The expose isn't too bad, bit of swearing but no blood and gore.
I think that might be the next episode.
This is a podcast created in extraordinary circumstances ...
I am a thriller/action writer, she, is a cozy mystery and fantasy reader.
We find ourselves together, isolated during lockdown and so I have challenged my wife Sam, to sit and listen to every tawdry sentence of my thriller/horror book, The Harvester. From every cut of the knife, to the seedy sex clubs that my killer frequents. She will be free to gasp, giggle, comment in the only way I know she will, with her own brutal honesty and I will record every moment for you. This podcast is less a book read and a more enlightening and humorous exercise.
I fear this may be as much of a challenge for me, as it is for her.
Sit back, pin your ears, maybe have a stiff drink with me and listen to my podcast “I hate this book”
