In Episode 30 of The Hottest Party On TV podcast, Club MTV dancer Christian Liendo stops by to talk about his time on MTV's flagship dance show. An avid New York City nightclub-goer, Christian didn't aspire to be on TV but suddenly found himself cast on the show after impressing the show's casting director during a hilarious night out at the Palladium. Christian also holds the distinction of being one of the dancers in the mosh pit for the infamous Dead Milkmen performance of "Punk Rock Girl" on Club MTV. He unpacks how that situation unfolded from his point of view and the moment it devolved from kickass anarchist fun into an unfortunate uncomfortable moment. Plus, I got to publicly thank Christian for the gift he organized for me from himself and the other Club MTV dancers.
