Student ministry dives into a series on Sexuality beginning March 1. Student ministers Emmanuel Dominguez and Tquan Moore overview the series including the dates, the format, and how we desire to equip and activate parents to have hundreds of one minute conversations with their students on sexuality. To delve into human sexuality is to delve into our identity, shame, and longing for connection. In this series we will discuss the identity given to us by God, some unhealthy voices speaking to us about identity (including Gnosticism, modern culture, and purity culture), how those can lead to shame and disconnection. And, finally we will discover how a loving God, who designed our sexuality, calls us out of the shadows of shame and into the greatest intimacy of all.
