Riffs, snappy songs, raw vocals and post-punk attitude are what the Los Angeles-based band Manhattan Murder Mystery brings to their powerful music. Somewhere between the bottle that singer and guitarist Matt Teardrop turns to for inspiration and the pathos of a hardscrabble life of heartbreak lies the emotional center of the band.
