It is hard not to be a pessimist when looking at the world we live in today. Hatred, bigotry, racism, violence, and bloodshed all run rampant. We hear of iniquity, wickedness, and sin every single day. Sometimes, it can be enough to make us just want to give up.

But, we still have hope through Jesus Christ. Through Him, we still have hope for our world, our countries, our futures, and our people. Through Jesus, we have hope of salvation. Through Jesus, we have hope of revival.

In 2 Chronicles 30, King Hezekiah turned to God during a time of great godlessness and experienced a great reformation and revival in the land. Today, if we will turn to Jesus, we can experience the same wonderful sort of revival. In fact, Hezekiah reveals us to some of the key ingredients required for the recipe for revival. He teaches us some amazing lessons, going as far as actually inviting his enemies to worship God alongside him.

I pray this message will encourage you to put Jesus first in your life and seek the salvation of the lost and the revival of the saints.
