Sharon Walt
Sharon is Canadian-born but has spent over three decades traveling and living in various countries. She spent many years as an academic, teaching, speaking, and conducting research, which helped her develop skills in scientific writing and interpretation.
Due to chronic workplace stress, she had to leave her academic career and became interested in functional medicine, where the focus is on identifying and addressing the root cause of the disorder. She became certified as a Health Coach and later as a Functional Medicine Health Coach, specializing in autoimmune disorders. She became The Hashimoto Health Coach to help those with autoimmune disorders, particularly Hashimoto's thyroiditis, to identify and address the root cause of their disorder.
