I know that talking about prospecting might be difficult on a Monday but it needs to be done.  If you want to be successful in sales you must, must, MUST prospect.  Prospecting in itself can be demoralizing especially if you are not getting any appointments.  Prospecting is the work you put in but that doesn't mean you will be closing deals daily.  You have to actually make quality appointments with decision makers to get the opportunity to close the sale. 

This is what The Godfather details in this episode.  Calling one time will not get you an appointment most of the time.  In fact, most of the time, you won't even get a chance to talk to the decision maker.  You will need to be aggressive and go after the prospect multiple times in multiple ways.  In this episode we discuss how many times, different ways to get in front of your prospect and how to ensure you are giving yourself every chance to make the appointment. 

One of the ways we go into a little more detail on is using email.  Do's and don'ts of subject lines.  This can either move your prospect to give you a chance or never, ever speak to you again.
