Nuthin' But Baseball! Hosted by Tab Bamford and Paul C. Cuthbert.
Part of the Revolver Podcast network.
We’re down to four teams left in the brackets for the 2021 World Series championship. The American League will be decided by a series between the Boston Red Sox and Houston Astros. The National League pennant will fly in wither Atlanta or Los Angeles as the Braves and Dodgers battle.
The guys broke down the two LCS in depth. Paul and Tab start looking at the Braves and Dodgers. How will LA’s pitching matchup after playing the wild card game and an epic, five-game series against the Giants? Will the Braves benefit from dispatching the Brewers in four games and having home field advantage (despite winning 18 fewer games during the regular season)? And who will be the X-factor in the NLCS?
Paul and Tab then moved to the American League, where the storylines run deep. Alex Cora, who took a big part of the blame in the Astros’ sign-stealing scandal, now manages against the team for whom he was the alleged ring-leader. Will the Astros’ pitching be deep enough with Lance McCullers, Jr. being injured? And how will the Astros’ potent offense stack up against a good, rested Red Sox staff? Which players will write another chapter in their legacies before the World Series?
The final four is set, and we’ve got two exciting series ahead of us as baseball fans. Let the games begin!
