We're back with episode one of our Halloween extravaganzas and first up is The Monster Squad. Fred Dekker's teen horror classic is essentially Goonies but with the Universal Monsters thrown in. But underneath its funny, sharp dialog and surprisingly scary violence is a story about the ways kids avoid the real horrors of life and a set of Wolfman nards. 10 out of 10 highly recommended.
